The hiking club runs on a Tuesday and friday afternoon. It started with a small group of dedicated students but is slowly gowing in numbers every week. They have been on one overnight trip on Table Mountain – with great thanks to the Christian Hiking Network-through Silvermine,  where a swim in the dam was a welcome cool down, as well as walks along Chapmens peak and exploring the rocks around Llundudno beach. The club is enthusiastic about adventure but also appreciates time spent learning about the world around them.

The hiking club is hoping to organise a camp that can be run in the June/July holidays. It would be a great opportunity for the kids to grow as a club and as future leaders of the school. Camping and surving the outdoor environment can be a hugely rewarding and character building experience.
