Collaboration Schools

Silikamva is a pilot of the WCED Collaboration School Program. We work in conjunction with our operating partner, Common Good, to bring about meaningful change in education. As a No Fees school we are resiliently on the forefront of finding new and innovative ways to deal with the challenges facing our society, ensuring that all children have access to excellent education, no matter what community they grow up in.

Common Good’s Education leadership development team works closely with school leaders, management teams and school governing bodies to strengthen leadership and governance. They bring stability to schools by appointing key leadership positions; and work with leadership and administrative staff to improve school management systems, infrastructure and processes.

Common Good’s instructional coaches conduct weekly observation and feedback sessions with our educators as part of the professional development and coaching programme. This equips teachers with practical tools to improve their teaching so that pupils can flourish.
